The USAPEEC Hong Kong office has regional responsibilities over the Greater China area and supervises the USAPEEC offices in Shanghai and Beijing. The Hong Kong office conducts marketing programs that cover trade, consumer, HRI and government sectors to facilitate the access, development and expansion of sales of U.S. poultry and egg products in South China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. These market development programs include trade servicing, trade and government seminars, food shows, in-store promotions, retail and food service management seminars, menu promotions, chef trainings and bakery seminars.
Beijing, China
The USAPEEC Beijing office covers the markets in North China including Northeast, Northwest and Central North areas. The Office carries out trade and consumers development programs (food show, billboard advertising, and trade servicing, etc.), technical assistance (seminars with AQSIQ/CIQ offices) to facilitating exporters and importers in their business and eventually increase the total export of US poultry products into China. The office is with the responsibility for the daily communication/relation with China government agents and China industries as well.
Shanghai, China
The USAPEEC Shanghai office covers the Central China region including the East Coast and Southwest areas. The Office carries out trade and consumers development programs (food show, billboard advertising, and trade servicing, etc.), technical assistance (seminars with Chinese Inspection & Quarantine offices) to facilitating exporters and importers in their business and eventually increase the total export of US poultry products into China.
USAPEEC Latin America/Caribbean
The USAPEEC Latin America/Caribbean office is located in based in Atlanta with branch offices in Guatemala City, Guatemala and Lima, Peru. It covers the Central and South American markets as well as the Caribbean region. The programs handled by this office are mostly aimed at trade development and include activities such as trade servicing, trade missions, and promotional events. In addition, the office works with retail and HRI promotional programs throughout the region.
Monterrey, Mexico
The USAPEEC Monterrey office carries out market intelligence activities, technical assistance, trade and marketing development programs(trade shows and conferences), and assist USDA agencies when dealing with market access issues in order to facilitate exports of U.S. poultry meat and egg products into the country.
Mexico City, Mexico
The USAPEEC Mexico City office carries out market intelligence activities, technical assistance, trade and marketing development programs(trade shows and conferences), and assist USDA agencies when dealing with market access issues in order to facilitate exports of U.S. poultry meat and egg products into the country.
Singapore
The USAPEEC Singapore office covers the ASEAN region, East Timor, Australia, India, New Zealand, Maldives and Sri Lanka. It services the poultry industry through a wide range of activities which include both trade and consumer development programs as well as market research and trade policy efforts to expanding the market base in the region.
Russia
The USAPEEC Moscow office provides a wide range of services to exporters and regional importers of US poultry meat through participation in major food show (World Food and Prodexpo), technical support in resolution of industry- and company-specific issues and an intensive public relations programs, which comprises trade newsletter, weekly media updates, promotional publications in Russian press, along with two websites (www.usapeec.ru for professionals and www.mirkur.ru for consumers).
Japan
The USAPEEC Japan office covers the market in Japan, from Hokkaido to the Okinawa islands. The office implements activities including trade development programs (food shows, trade servicing, retail promotions, seminars, etc) and consumer programs (recipe development, magazine tie-ins, recipe contests, etc.) to generate increased imports of US poultry as well as US egg products.
Korea
The USAPEEC Korea office covers the market of South Korea and carries out trade development programs including trade shows, trade servicing and consumer expansion program such as in-store promotion, PR/advertisement to improve the awareness and image of U.S. Poultry meat and accelerate exports into the region.
Middle East/CIS
The USAPEEC Middle East office covers the markets of the Middle East and North Africa, including UAE, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Libya. USAPEEC Baku covers Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia. Activities include trade development, technical seminars, trade shows, trade servicing to enhance U.S. poultry sales to the area.
South Africa
The USAPEEC Africa office covers Sub-Saharan Africa. Its focus is maintaining market access in Angola and Ghana (main markets.) In addition, it is dedicated to increasing market access to Tanzania, Mozambique, Benin, Gabon and working on opening markets in Senegal, Nigeria and Kenya.
Europe
The USAPEEC Europe office is located in Visby, Sweden and covers the European Union and Balkan markets. The European programs are mostly aimed at trade development in the Balkans and include activities such as trade servicing, trade missions, and promotional events. There is also a technical assistance program for the EU market. The European office is also in charge of coordinating the USAPEEC exhibitions at the SIAL and Anuga trade shows.
Central Asia/Eastern Europe
The USAPEEC Central Asia/Eastern Europe office covers the markets of Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan Tajikistan, Uzbekistan) and Eastern Europe (Ukraine, Moldova). It carries out technical assistance for trade and actively represents U.S. poultry industry in the region by conducting PR campaigns including the biggest Chefs event in entire Central Asian region - "The Kazakhstan Culinary Congress", trade shows, trade servicing, etc.
