Peru Digital Desk Side Seminar
The USA Poultry and Egg Export Council (USAPEEC), with sponsorship from Illinois Soybean Association Program, is providing digital seminars on "The Cold Chain Management and Protocols of Food Handling for Disease Prevention" in Peru.
These seminars are focused on food preservation, temperature effects, procedures for correct operation, and other topics in order to improve and optimize food preservation as well as food and health safety processes for US Poultry Products.
The seminars will be held digitally in Spanish through a Zoom meeting link. The topics reviewed during the seminar will be:
- Handling of frozen and refrigerated food
- The preventive management and basic protection measures in the current health situation that our country is going through due to the COVID 19 pandemic
- Food safety
- Cold chain
- Freezing and refrigeration methods
Many members from the poultry industry will participate, including food importing companies, supermarket chains, and HRI Sector.
The seminars will be conducted by MSc. Genaro Christian Pesantes Arriola, Food Engineer at National University of Callao (UNAC) who has a Master Degree in Science and Technology of Food and a Doctorate Degree in Administration.
