Colombia Cold Chain Seminar- Buenaventura
USAPEEC will conduct Seminars regarding the "Impact of Food Safety and Quality in the Cold Chain" in Cartagena, Barranquilla and Buenaventura during August 2020.
These seminars will be given by Jose Manuel Samperio, Food Engineer of the National Polytechnic Institute of Mexico, Master in Food Legislation & Food Safety at the University of London - England, Certified in Cold Chain by the Refrigeration Institute of Norwich - England and technical associate of USAPEEC Latin America.
These events will provide an extensive knowledge of the poultry cold chain related to:
- meat quality,
- safety products,
- production of chicken meat in the United States,
- methods of freezing and refrigeration,
- appropriate equipment,
- procedures for proper operation,
- what to do in unusual situations in order to improve and optimize conservation and safety processes of frozen foods.
