U.S. meat and poultry export inspection & supervision workshop

The workshop was held on March 7 at Crowne Plaza Beihai Silver Beach Hotel, it was co-organized by USMEF and USAPEEC. The organizers invited a total of 37 attendees including import agents and importers and traders from south China area to attend. In addition to PHIS system introduction and updates, training by FSIS Beijing director James Chisholm, attendees exchanged the opinions with the organizers on the common issues when importing U.S. poultry and meat products, covering trade policy issues and technical issues.
