Cafe Show alternative helps introduce U.S. egg products in Korea

January 25, 2021

In response to worsening conditions resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, the South Korean government limited private gatherings to no more than four people. As a result, the number of companies that had planned to participate in Café Show 2020 dwindled, with the number of visitors expected to decline in turn.

After assessing the situation, USAPEEC Korea decided not to participate in the show and, instead, developed an alternative plan to introduce U.S. egg products.

Under American Egg Board and MAP (Market Access Program) funds, USAPEEC Korea produced and distributed U.S. egg product try-out sample kits, targeting ten major foodservice companies and 60 independent influential bakeries and cafes.
