Cuba, Angola, and China post big broiler export gains in January

U.S. egg and broiler exports each posted strong openings to the start of the new year, recording increases both in volume and value in January, according to new trade data released by the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service. 

Cuba and Angola, as well as China, showed tremendous gains in broiler exports from the same month a year ago, while strength in Mexico propelled egg exports. 

Turkey exports were down due largely to decreased U.S. turkey production.
