World Chefs Congress and Expo a big draw in Abu Dhabi

The 39th World Chefs Congress and Expo was successfully conducted at the Abu Dhabi Exhibition Centre recently, with more than 1,000 chefs and 200 exhibitors from 100 different countries attending. Exhibitors specialized in food products, hotels, and tourism in addition to companies involved in service and equipment, bakery supplies, food preparation, warehousing and refrigeration systems, cutlery, and accessories.

USAPEEC MENA staff Andrew El-Halal and Nicole Zachariades manned a booth at the show. Events included the Emirates Salon Culinaire, which is the region’s largest culinary competition, bringing together chefs and industry leaders from across the globe to meet under one roof.
