Data show solid 11- month results for poultry, eggs

A strong November made for a solid first 11 months of 2019 for exports.
U.S. turkey and broiler exports gained in both volume and value, while egg exports increased in volume for January through November 2019, according to new trade data released by USDA Foreign Agricultural Service.
Cumulative turkey exports for January through November 2019 increased by 5.6 percent in volume and 9.2 percent in value, while broiler exports increased slightly in both volume and value.
Egg exports (table eggs plus egg products in shell egg equivalent) rose 1.1 percent in volume although they were down 11.5 percent in value.
Broiler exports for in January- November 2019 were 3,124,900 metric tons, up 0.6 percent from the same period of last year, while export value was $3.176 billion, up slightly or 0.03 percent.
